Work involvedInformation Technologies Services Company, specializing in new technology integration and application as well as in the generation and implementation of new organizational business models, is seeking a lawyer for its Legal Department, who must have at least 4-5 years’ experience.

Type of contract: Open-ended
Basis: Full-time (40 hours a week)
Requirements• Law graduate
• Minimum experience: 4 to 5 years
• Proven experience in:
1) Media:
- Legal counselling on issues related with the financing, production and distribution of audiovisual and musical contents.
- Drawing up, negotiation and revision of audiovisual, musical and Management contracts.
- Dealing with specific matters regarding intellectual and industrial property.
2) Internet and ICT law:
- Negotiation of Information Services agreements or IT contracts (software development and distribution, escrow, hosting, housing, outsourcing, etc.)
- Legal counselling on issues related with Free Software creation, distribution, integration and use.
- Legal auditing of websites and adjustment to current legislation.
- Drawing up of privacy policies, clauses and contracts.
3) Intellectual and Industrial Property:
- Drawing up and revision of contracts (transfer of economic, literary edition, software development rights, etc.)
- Obtaining and registration of patents, brands, drawings, domain names, etc.
- Legal advice on solving conflicts related with domain names.
4) Data protection:
- Registration of files with the Data Protection Agency.
- Drawing up of security documents.
- Preparation and revision of service provider contracts.
- Drawing up of legal notices and adjustment of the procedure to current legislation.
• A high level of English, both spoken and written, is essential. The candidate must be easy-going, well-educated and have a smart appearance.
• Specific requirements: Experience acquired preferably with top companies of the sector or at IT, New Technologies or Intellectual Property departments of leading legal firms. Master or Postgraduate studies in ICT or Intellectual Property Law will be highly valued.
